We were blessed on Sunday 31st August to hold another baptism service.

Despite the previous week’s weather taking a turn for the worse, prayer brought sunshine and warm enough temperatures to get out the pool and baptize sister Leah. We were blessed to see many of our regular members come out and also to see some visitors in attendance.

Leah shared a powerful testimony of salvation and the forgiveness, hope and peace she has found in Christ, just in the past couple of weeks. It was great to see her mother in attendance, and we continue to lift up other family members in prayer.

The saints in worship

After worship, prayer and the baptism, we made sure we spent some time in fellowship to celebrate another commitment for God’s kingdom and glory. Though the weather may be turning colder and the nights drawing in, we believe God to continue to hold baptisms indoors over the winter – even in our very own building!

Ready, steady…
