Get answers to some frequently asked questions about our church in Milton Keynes. Read our church FAQs below to find out more now.
What will the experience be like?
The service runs for just under an hour from start to finish. We begin with a few songs to praise
and worship God. You will then hear a message centred on the Bible addressing real life everyday
issues that will encourage you. At the end of the service refreshments are usually served along with
a friendly chat for those who don’t have to rush off!
How can I come to Church when I’ve got no one to come with?
Whether it’s just you or not you will be warmly welcomed in our Church and will in no way be
made to feel uncomfortable. We will be especially glad if you do happen to come alone (there’s
absolutely no shame in that!). Please contact us if you are experiencing difficulty getting to Church.
My life is a little crazy right now, should I wait until I sort myself out before coming to Church?
Absolutely not. Please don’t put off coming. God wants to get involved in this moment of your
life and this includes working with us through our problems no matter how great or small they may
be. Neither will anyone in anyway look down on you, we are here to help you and not to judge you.
Can God really forgive me?
Definitely yes! The good news of the Gospel is that every sin can be forgiven because of the great
price Jesus paid with His life on the cross.
Can I bring children?
Yes. We have nursery for babies and for older children Sunday School where they can learn more
about Jesus through songs, activities and a short lesson. Our children workers are fully DBS checked.
What do I wear?
Some come to Church dressed smartly whereas others prefer to come looking more casual. In
other words, it’s entirely up to you. We want you to come wearing whatever you feel most
comfortable, it really doesn’t matter.
Is it a black or white Church?
We are neither and both or just simply put…..a people Church. Heaven will be a place with people
from every nation, tribe and tongue worshiping before the throne of God together. We want our
Church to be a small representation of this.
I’m a new Christian what do I do now?
There are a few things you can do now. The first is tell someone about your decision to give your
life to Jesus Christ. Secondly, come to Church (or one local to you) where you can be in a Holy Spirit
filled atmosphere with other believers and hear messages to encourage you. Also get yourself a
Bible. If you don’t already own one please let us know at Church and we will gladly provide you with
one to keep.
