Easter Family Fun Day Report

We had a great time on Saturday 26th March at our Easter Family Fun Day. Things started off with the bouncy castle, games and BBQ being set up before we opened the day to numbers of visitors.

Throughout the day sisters from church were on hand to serve drinks and snacks and everyone laboured to see that the day was a great success. From giant Jenga to Nerf balls, there was lots to keep visitors entertained, as well as the saints! We soon fired up the BBQ and got the burgers and sausages sizzling, before we started our mini concert.

Pastor Terrell and sister Ebs ministered in music, while Sharon shared her testimony. The true message of Easter was then preached and we are glad to say that there were five decisions for Christ, with some visitors even weeping at the blessed Good News.

After this, clues were given for the Easter egg hunt and raffle tickets handed out for Easter eggs that contained the message of the death and resurrection of Jesus. Throughout the day we saw 90 visitors in attendance, including 40 during the concert, and really thank God for not only the opportunity to bless our community, but the bottom line of being able to preach the gospel to them.
